Couture Costume Dancewear is custom made & chosen by you. Once paid for we can't accept change of mind for material/fabric/size/style.

We have provided a very thorough sizing chart so please choose your size carefully before ordering; you're welcome to email your measurements through to check if you're unsure.

If your dancewear doesn't fit properly, please contact us, we will do the best we can to rectify the problem for you however it may incur a cost if the error in sizing was made on the customer's end.

Couture Costume Dancewear is a small business which caters to personal choices, we love that you can have your own choice of dancewear but we cannot guarantee that someone won’t select the same combination.
Costume Conversion

If a custom costume or set of costumes is ordered via Couture Costume Dancewear, we reserve the right to refuse an order if there is a conflict of interest between clients of Couture Costume by Karina Doig.
Fabric availability
-
Couture Costume Dancewear maintains business relationships with reliable and reputable suppliers for materials, fabrics and haberdashery. However we cannot guarantee that every fabric shown on our website is available at the time of purchase. If you have ordered a fabric which has become unavailable we will make contact with you and discuss a time frame and/or a suitable second choice.

Our popular staple fabrics like Black Supplex, Lining & Black/White Matte or Shiny Spandex are likely to become unavailable for long periods of times due to supply & demand issues out of our control. In order to keep things moving; we purchase these fabrics from a number of different suppliers to keep them stocked for you; this means there can be some slight differences in colour across different suppliers, however we reserve the right to provide any fabric that is closest in colour & quality without prior notice unless it is deemed absolutely necessary (like matching a set of already costumes etc). Thank-you for your understanding.

Pricing & Invoicing

Couture Costume Dancewear reserves the right to change pricing without prior notice.

If any STYLE/FABRIC UPGRADES or requested ADD-ON has been missed at checkout; we will send you an invoice with the balance via your email; and will follow up with a text if we don't hear from you.

Production of order will commence once payment is made in full. If your invoice has not been paid in 14 days your order will be subject to cancellation, we will contact you prior to this.

For very large group orders; we understanding studios need to monitor cash flow; so we are happy to accept a 50% deposit upfront & the remainder prior to shipment; however payment in full is encourage. We will not ship anything else full payment has been made.

All payments through the website are made via Paypal or eWay payments. International orders that are made via email will be required to use PayPal for payment. Australian Orders made through email can use Bank Transfer/Direct Debit.

PayPal now has PAY IN 4; allowing you to split your payment into 4; interest free!

Our All Australian orders are required to pay an extra 10% to accommodate Goods & Services Tax. Our prices do not include GST at this current time, apologies for this inconvenience.

All international orders are exempt from Australian GST (10%); however they may incur taxes and duties applied by customs in the country where the order is delivered.
Coupon Codes, Gift Vouchers & Loyalty Program

% Discounts gifted by Couture Costume Dancewear are only available to be used online for non custom designed; these gifted vouchers are not available to be used for Custom designs or custom Costumes.

The Wix Gift Cards are an automated system; so it is tricky to edit/change details once the Gift Voucher has been purchased. However we can easily change

Our old system of gift cards DWGV0000 style still need to be used via the COUPON CODE Section of our website & cannot be used with any other discount codes (our system only excepts one Coupon code at a time.

The new E-GIFT CARDS (the ones with the long code contains many letters & numbers) need to be redeemed as a PAYMENT METHOD at checkout.

See our new LOYALTY Program to earn 'Couture Coins' and save $$! This feature is new as of August 2022, we are all starting refresh so we won't be back dating/awarding any past orders. Rewards can only be gained or redeemed via our website; Couture Coins to do not apply to Email Orders.
Cancellations

No order cancellations can made once cutting/production has started on your order. If you need to cancel, we would appreciate contact within 48hrs of placing your order.

An order will only be cancelled if it has been agreed upon by both parties.
Orders
We would like to make your shopping experience with us as enjoyable and hassle free as possible. If you have any questions in regards to ordering or a purchase you have made, please feel free to email us and we will do our best to assist you with your enquiries.

All orders are in Australian Dollars (AUD), we have an in-house CURRENCY VIEWER at the top left corner of your screen, you can view our whole website in your chosen currency, however it will default back to Australian dollars on checkout; but don't worry; the magic technology of our payment systems will take care of any currency conversions and it won't be charging you a different price.

Production of your order will commence once payment is made in full unless arranged otherwise.

Please allow plenty of time for your order to be created & shipped. We are happy to work to quick turn around times but you must be wary that we can't always accommodate these requests during busy times.

Email Orders - Admin Fees - Rush Fees - Order Changes

We are happy to except email orders; however depending on how much communication is required & how much work needs to be done to get your order sorted (with measurements, fabric & style choices) there will be an admin fee added to your order. So the more work you do the quicker it is for us to sort out!

If you place a significantly large custom solo order online with multiple items, we would appreciate a summarised follow up email with any sketches/inspo photos that you have. This just makes it much faster for us to sift through your requests and have a shared vision on what's being created.

Rush Fees are available to if you need your item urgently. Pricing is based on the quantity of your order & how quickly you need it. Rush fees are still subject to availability at the time of ordering and we will not compromise other customers order timelines for a rush job; so please keep this in mind and order within plenty of time.

If you need to make significant modifications to your order after it has been placed online and we have already completed your order confirmation; this is only possible if the order hasn't been sent into production already; however these late addtions & order changes could be subject to an additional admin fee.

Shipping​

All Australian orders will be sent via Australia Post: Express is always recommend, however we have a Standard option as well. We will provide you with a tracking number via WixStores after your order has been shipped.

All International Orders are sent via DHL or Standard International Post via Australia Post & we will provide you with a tracking number via WixStores after your order has been shipped. DHL is definitely recommended if you're requiring your order by a certain date. It's a 4-5day guaranteed tracked all the way service; whereas Standard International has been unpredictable in the past & even more so since COVID hit and can take up to 7weeks to arrive.

During our crazy busy period (September-end Feb) please allow up to 4-5weeks s for your order to be made & shipped. 5+ items in your order will take longer.

Australian express Orders should be received approximately 2 working days after shipment. Although we are sending via Express Post; we cannot guarantee next day delivery; however we always try our best to meet customer deadlines when requested.

International Orders will be received approximately 14-20 days after shipment unless DHL 4/5 day expedited shipping has been purchased.

Couture Costume Dancewear does not accept any responsibility for customs delays, duties or taxes that may apply. International customers will need to check with their local customs office in regard to what, if any, duty you may be liable for when the order arrives.

To comply with Australian export regulations, we are required to declare the exact value of all items ordered and to mark them as dutiable "merchandise". We are also prohibited by law from marking the order as a "gift", even if the order is placed with the intention of sending to a gift recipient. If you require further information about your countries taxes and duties you will need to contact your local customs office directly.

We must have correct and complete addresses, including a name and a contact phone number on your order. We will confirm your address with you before dispatching your order.

Delivery will be charged/quoted based on order weight.

We also have a PICK UP option if you live locally to Rowville, Victoria. Please let us know if you would like to pick-up & we will contact you once your order is ready.

Returns & Exchanges
We understand selecting the right style and size online can be a hard decision. As your Couture Costume Dancewear is custom made and chosen by you, we are unable to accept change of mind in material/fabric, style & size invoiced once your payment is made. Refunds and Exchanges are only given through our terms (* & **) hereunder. Please select your dancewear & size carefully, so you will not be disappointed. We are happy to receive measurements from customers to ensure the best fit possible for you. Please contact us for any queries you have before ordering.
* Refunds

Couture Costume Dancewear will provide a full refund for any item ordered & paid for of which materials/fabrics cannot be sourced and no alternative is acceptable.

We will also fully refund an order if the turn around time isn't achievable for CCDW, please allow plenty of time for your order to be created & shipped.
** Faulty Item

Should your CCDW item be faulty, we are happy to accommodate you in any way possible. Please contact us to discuss your options.

If you have already embellished your item before discovering the fault; please be prepared to remove stones in order for proper repairs to be done. Always best to fit/check before blinging please.

Couture Costume Dancewear reserves the right to determine whether a product is faulty and conduct a production and quality check. If deemed faulty by Couture Costume Dancewear a replacement item or repair will be organised where possible or a full refund on invoice paid will be issued if deemed necessary.
EXTRA NOTES!

Couture Costume Dancewear will not be held responsible if there is a delay in delivery. Australia Post in general will send you back to us; but we really cannot do much once it leaves our workshop! If you have purchased with DHL and are having an issue; we can liaise with our REP and get your sorted as soon as possible!

If for some reason our quality control team missed a garment fault, we will gladly provide you an exchange or repair.

Customers will be responsible for any return shipping and handling charge.

In the event that your return product is lost in transit, Couture Costume Dancewear will not be held liable and therefore recommends that you send your return via Registered Post/Tracked Postage.

We ask that you allow 7 business days from the day you return your package for your account to be credited where this is necessary.

We do not accept exchange or refund for 'change of mind' so please choose your outfit carefully.

We will always send an order confirmation email asking you to check over/reconfirm your order to make sure it's correct before production begins. As everything is made to order; we prefer not to have to remake items again as the incorrect size was ordered etc. We will only exchange if we have made the error.

We must have receipt evidence that the original item being returned is on its way before sending out the replacement.

However, each 'return' situation needs to be discussed via email before returning.
We will provide a return address when necessary.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is your current production turn around time?
Our current production schedule is kept up to date on our website homepage & via Order Confirmations. Rush fees are available for discussion for orders needed under the current timeline.
Times are subject to change without notice depending on workload, however you will be notified of any delays based on the production timeline you were given.
You will be notified via Wix Stores once your Dancewear has been shipped. If you require your order to be urgent; for instance a costume for a competition, a photoshoot or a birthday, PLEASE PLEASE let us know as soon as you order so we stay on track with your order & meet your deadline as best as possible.

Do you do Bulk Orders? Eg. Uniforms or sets of costumes, wholesale.
We can do bulk orders for costumes, subject to workload/availability. Please make contact prior to ordering if you are purchasing in bulk. Any 10+ of the same product is considered a ‘bulk’ order. We also offer bulk prices. Please contact us directly for pricing. Unfortunately we are not wholesaling to independent dancewear stores at this current time and we don't do LOGO or SCREEN PRINTING!

Am I able to change my order once it has been placed?
We do try to process all order paperwork as quickly as possible, however we aren't perfect & sometimes little website details get missed, so PLEASE CHECK YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAILS, if you have noticed an error with your order due to an incorrect size, colour, combo etc being ordered or incorrect shipping details, please contact us as soon as possible and we will aim to adjust your order. We will always send an order confirmation email asking you to check over/reconfirm your order to make sure it's correct before production begins. As everything is made to order; we prefer not to have to remake items again as the incorrect size was ordered etc. We will only exchange if we have made the error.

I'm not sure of my size, do you have a size chart?
Please see our ‘SIZING’ tab on the website. We offer sizes from GIRLS 4 up to LADIES 16, all measurements are listed so please choose carefully before ordering. We are also happy to receive a list of your measurements to ensure the best fit possible. If you are plus size or out of our size range; we are happy to help! Send us an email today and we can discuss requirements!

There is an item missing from my order?
If you have received your order and there is an item missing please contact us immediately. We apologise for the oversight in advance.

Can I use a PO Box as a shipping address?
We do recommend a residential or business address for your goods to be shipped. If the driver does not have access to the PO Box it will be taken to the post office. DHL will not accept PO Boxes.
Can I track my order?
Yes you can! Once your order has been shipped you will receive tracking details for your parcel via an email from Wix Stores. A link will be attached for you to easily track your parcel via the Australia Post website. www.auspost.com.au
Can I specify to have my parcel left if I'm not home?
Yes, just leave a note with your order & we will add this to the parcel before shipping.
Tracking for my parcel states delivered but I have not received my parcel, what do I do?
If you have tracked your parcel online with Australia Post and it states that your parcel has been delivered but you have not received your parcel you will need to lodge an enquiry with AusPost. You can find their contact details on their website. Let us know as well & we can try everything we can to get it moving & delivered to you!
Australia Post are incredibly responsive & helpful via their Facebook Messenger account. If you have ordered with DHL, please contact us and we will discuss options with our REP.
